Classes are held in eight week sessions– except for Intro Classes which are four week sessions.
Intro classes are for those new to Iyengar yoga, and the teachings of BKS Iyengar.*
NOTE: Intro classes are a four week course.
Beginning classes teach newcomers the basic yoga postures, and sanskrit names for the asanas.
Gentle classes provide a gentle, supported stretch.
Chair Yoga utilizes the support of a chair. Adapted for individuals of all ability and mobility levels.**
Restorative Yoga provides supported postures to help students open, release and relax. This is especially helpful and important during times that are stressful or fatiguing.
Levels I, II, & III take students through more difficult asanas that lead practitioners toward a daily personal practice. Level III is for students that have progressed to a committed personal daily practice.
Structural Intensives improve strength, motion, stability, and support for injured joints and areas of the body. These classes are offered as a 4-week series.
All yoga props are provided.
